Please tell me how Michigan and tOSU have shown they have superior talent this year. The only bright spot on either of those teams is Miller. Nebraska appears to be the team to actually be scared of in the Big10 this year. MSU still has a pretty stout defense but their offense is worse than the Hawks.

They have a lot of underclassmen Michigan/OSU get a lot of 4 star/5 star recruits. How many 5 star recruits are there at Iowa? None. How many four star? Very few. Both of those teams have a lot more speed than Iowa. Michigan's defense isn't that bad. They did very well against a very good ND team. Their offense gets overlooked by Denard's ability, but they are good. MSU's defense isn't worse than the Hawks. They may have an inexperianced QB but Laveon Bell is stout. And they have a good line and recievers. Wisky is going through some growing pains this year, but next year they will be a problem. As for Nebraska, Martinez is a more complete QB this year. But from Iowa's perspective it's irrelevant. It only changes the amount Iowa is going to lose by.

This post makes no sense. Who cares if we beat Minny? It doesn't matter how much a team "sucks", it will still count as a full notch in the W column.

The B1G is full of big, slow, power-football teams. Therefore, we won't have any problem with our conference schedule.

Let the MAC and they new-fangled forward passing and speedy runners do their thing--we're just fine here in the best, most powerful conference in the country.

I absolutely love this mentality (heavy sarcasm). We're struggling this year. We all get it. What's not to celebrate though about possiby beating a team that has had our number the last two years in a row. Some people here need to get off their high horse that there is no reason to celebrate a win against what is usually a weaker opponent. Guess what, we're not as good as we once were, so why play the all high and might card and say a win against Minn. means nothing. We're mediocre again, why can't we be happy to be anyone? With that kind of mentality there's no reason to get mad about a loss either since the mind set is that were bad. Why can't we just try to enjoy it week by week regardless of who we're playing.

Entire rant wasn't meant your way jwegner. I appoligize just frustrated.

There is talent on this team. Those that have been around the Hawks for awhile have seen it before. They look really bad one week then in another week they look like superstars. That's the thin ray of hope I am hanging onto at this point.
