this is what i'm thinking too. hey, at least we'll get a good NIT seeding with home games...if that's any consolation.

There shouldn't be a set number...the guy on the BTN's bracketology special said that the committee doesn't look at conference affiliation after they put the AQs in, just resumes...either way though, we're screwed.

The committee will take 8 if we have a noticeably better resume then other bubble teams. If its a toss up between us and other teams I think we will get left out because we are the 8th team.

i think we don't need to worry about this stuff unless the Hawks can win two in the BTT. i know some will be outraged if we get left out with a win over Nebby and then a team like jNW in the BTT, but unless we can win that second game, i just don't see how Iowa can get in.

In this instance, I am sure. Not all the doors are lockable tho so I am sure some will slip past the goalie here and there. As I said before, if someone creates an alt and wants to get back in and be a part of the Hawkeye discussion and leave it at that, I won't have a problem with it in nearly every case. But that's usually not how it plays out.
