We need better coaches

And is it helping them? Are we not in better shape over the last 40 yrs than nearly all of them since we are historically a top 25 program in wins vs losses? Oh, but you'd have us looking like Iowa State I'm sure.

More like Northwestern. No one is like ISU but ISU.

I see us finishing 7-5. Crazy as that sounds, I feel like that is what this staff aspires to.

I saw BYU got crushed tonight. The team that beat the mighty Badgers on the badgers home field got smacked down big time.

I had said BYU wasn’t that good. We could go into comparative scores but that doesn’t always work in college football. A lot of times it’s about matchups and chemistry.

I was always glad that Joe Pa was coaching at Penn State because his predictable and conservative play calling always kept ole Kirk and Iowa in the games. They were both cut out the same mold from an offensive mindset.

It was also interesting to watch the Michigan vrs Northwestern game today. Northwestern reminds me of Iowa a lot. Good enough defense to keep in the game but in the fourth quarter their offense couldn’t do $hit.

I think Iowa really should place a huge “BIG TEN TITLE CHAMPIONS” over the top of the children’s hospital. That way when everyone turns to wave to the kids at the end of the first quarter they can kill two birds with one stone (or wave). Wave hello to those precious children in the hospital and wave goodbye to the Big Ten title at the same time. :p
 
Since KF took over, Big Ten Championships by team:

1. Ohio State 9
2. Wisconsin 4
3. Michigan. 3
4. Penn State 3
5. Michigan State 3
6. Iowa. 2

Take out Ohio State and the big ten titles are relatively close. Yes, Wisconsin has more. Everyone else has 1 more, wisconsin 2....in 20 yrs.

How many outright big ten titles does Iowa have since Kirk took over?

Wisconsin has 3 in the last 10 years. KF has zero.
