We Look Like A Basketball Team Again..

I have to say, as PO'ed as I am after the loss, as sick of moral victories as I am, as sick of seeing players go absolutely ballistic from 3-point land as I am, of seeing last second 3's ALWAYS go in against us as well, I have to say that I really LOVED watching this team play tonight.

By jove, we actually look like a BASKETBALL TEAM again. Haven't seen that for quite a while. Got down by 10 against a team that absolutely could NOT miss in the 2nd half, and fought back to take the lead at one point. We are leaps and bounds better than we were at the start of the season already IMO, and think we will only continue to improve. I'm looking forward to seeing the team grow.

You're looking at it the wrong way. Our basketball team didn't quit tonight. The same thing can't really be said of our football team. Although we lost the lead in the second half, it was great to see us fight back to take the lead. Once we got down by 8 or whatever it was, I thought we were done.

Twayne, the choking was actually early in the 2nd half, coming out of the locker room. The Hawks clawed back and had a terrific chance to win, late.
