I support the team, not any particular person. And if i find that a particular person is hurting that team, i want him gone. KF is hurting the team right now.

I agree-does anyone really believe Bob Stoops could do half as well as Ferentz has done?
 
83 is right. Kirk isn't going anywhere for at least four years. Nobody is going to pony up the cash to buy him out. Our only hope is that Kirk makes changes or some of these young guys fit the part in his system.
 
We can get back to 7-9 wins, a couple a key position improvements and avoidance of injury. I think we could be back within the next couple years. If things go well, we could sneak a 10+ win I the next few.
 
At 3.8 mil yearly I think he's been given plenty of support. What haven't we given him that he's asked for?

He's always said when it stops being fun is when he would leave the game. I could see that happening before his contract expires.
 
He always get the support from some old people in pioneer caps and people wearing aprons... and people wearing sweater vests.

He just gets no support from people wearing sweater vests with no shirt underneath.
 
At almost 4 million dollars a year he is the most over-paid coach in America. He is a tremendous person, class act, and has a great track record, but for 3 straight years he has not delivered a very good product.

We'd be a national power now if Stoops was the coach. We are a very rich program. No need to settle for this when we can pay a coach $4 million a year.

You had to of played for KF in 1983. There is no other way you could be that blind.
 
I'm still behind Ferentz because I know he can win, but he needs to let go of Greg Davis after the season and scrap this stupid horizontal passing "attack".

I'll be an Iowa fan until the day I die but I blame ferentz for the downfall of the Iowa program. If you follow "if you don't like the coach then you don't like the team" motto, are you still an american if you dislike the president?
