Applebees could model their entire menu off of the Hawkeyes and I still wouldn't eat that **** food.

I don't know why this thread came back...I still think we look like Iowa State fans if we try to make a big deal of it..who cares...

But....that was a VERY stupid thing for HyVee to do. If I owned a business like Hy Vee and my employee took a shot at the majority of the population of our main state..That's really bad business...I would address that very firmly. I would let them knolw that HyVee is here to sell groceries to people at an inflated price to people who think that they are too good for Wal Mart but are still too poor to shop at upscale market. I'd tell them that if they want to make a public post while representing Hy Vee disparaging either state university, they would be fired.

That's not good business. If I'm the ceo of HY Vee, and I see someone on social media ******* off half the state, action will be taken.

I am not worried about one HyVee employee's bad judgment. Applebees, however, has made an egregious mistake by completely leaving the Hawkeyes off the menu. JMHO

I brought this back because I am sick of the Applebee's commercials. I have to find the remote and FF through them every time one comes on. And I am not even a Clone hater.

I can honestly say that I haven't been to a HyVee since "The Incident". Perhaps because I'd have to travel over 1,000 miles to get to one, but, nonetheless, I haven't set foot inside of one.

Actually, I wouldn't even feed my dogs that garbage, but that's more because they'd likely have explosive diarrhea all over the place. Which is much like myself whenever I'm unfortunate enough to eat there.
