Was there negativity around CJ in the last part of the season or the last few games?

I agree that's probably his reasoning but as if anyone that's paid half attention would buy it. Literally the only thing that would surprise me about any of this is if he ends up anywhere else but UK.
My shocked face is the same as my sleeping face

Don’t care. CJ is dead to me. CJ who?

I cared because he was a difference maker. Are Kentucky fans delusional thinking he is Tyler Herro 2.0? 1000%. He is just another dude. But for Iowa, he was special.

Is he dead to me? No doubt. But that offensive efficiency(when healthy)can’t easily be replaced.

I respected how hard he played and his ability to make the big three. I liked that he used the back cut successfully. I thought he was solid on defense. Pretty turnover free. He seemed to get on well with teammates. Was not a “me first” player. I think we will wish he had returned as the season progresses.
I know it’s none of my business, but I am disappointed on him bailing on Iowa.

While great on offense, he was terrible at Zone D. He seemed to inexplicably double often leading to open players and we'd be chasing for 3-4 catches until the other team gets a wide open corner three. Moss did the same thing. Incredibly frustrating to watch.

Likely he will be fine at Kentucky as he will be easy to help as the rest of the D will be more solid/quick than was Iowa's.
