With Stanley and a good offensive line 9-3 maybe even 10-2. If Stanley goes down or the offensive line becomes puke then we will be looking at 6-6.

Laughing at the only seeing the Ohio State game comment. Definitely missed the Purdue game. Having said that Stanley at this point appears to be the most valuable player unless one of our running backs blows up. That wouldn’t hurt my feelings one bit.

Maybe Colin recognizes that Nate has the most rare QB skill: He stands tall in the pocket when he's getting pressured and can deliver the ball. This can't be coached, you either have it or you don't. There are good NFL QBs that don't have this trait.

Outside of Tate, I can't think of another Iowa QB who performed as well with defenders in his face than Nate did.

Stanley is 6’5” 240 and has a strong arm. He’ll be thrown in next year as a high draft pick strictly on his physical skills.

I love the kid as much as anyone, but he needs to work on things.

Hiring an experienced OC, rather one learning the ropes, is what the team really needed/needs to make a jump.

Of course, if the default master game plan is to get to 7-5, then it really doesn't matter that much.

Then you hire family, those who won't rock the boat, who won't stir up the vanilla in the bowl.

Nathan Chandler and CJ did pretty well when getting clobbered. There's a cross-field cross-body while being tackled throw CJB made that I don't think anybody else could make from the undefeated season.
