Kiss of death. Third play from scrimmage against NIU he's gonna hit his hand on a lineman's helmet and shatter like 6 bones. Out for season. 3-9. FML.
Yeah he's not a finished product by any means. I think he has the potential to be a great QB but he's gotta hit those throws you mentioned (he probably left another 1000 or so yards on the table last yr) and have better pocket awareness. There's times he could roll away from pressure and he stays right where he's at letting the pocket totally collapse on him. As good as he was there's plenty to improve on and I'm sure he'd be the first to admit it.I'm pretty surprised he stated that. Kissing Iowa's azz now?? He had luv the following in 2015 when he was dissing Iowa all the time. Stanley possibly "the best in the country"! I wish. We will see. Might be a stretch at this point.
Stanley will have to show more consistency hitting the long range passes before he can be elevated.
he probably only watched the OSU game.
You know what would make Stanley batter? Quality WRs.

KOK is the one offensive coach that I think this site has a positive consensus on. What else would he have been working with Stanley on all offseason? If nothing else improves, the kid is going to be hitting those deep balls.I like Stanley. I hope KOK worked on his deep ball accuracy though.

How exactly does mentioning an obscure quarterback from the fake ID of college football, the University of Iowa, garner more ratings on eSECpn? Also let’s not pretend the media is judged by accuracy. 90% of news outlets would be out of business by the end of the week.He is in the entertainment business (judged by ratings), not the media (judged by accuracy).
JVB's dropoff from junior to senior year when KOK left and GD came in was telling. I think McNutt had graduated, but the dropoff was way beyond that. KOK had generally been pretty good about developing QBs but their records didn't always bear it out because there would be turnover on defense (e.g., losing the line in 2005 and the LBs in 2010) that made a guy like Tate or Stanzi have a drop in year over year win-loss record and Tate's shoulder injury in 2006 really limited him. I try to block out 2007.KOK is the one offensive coach that I think this site has a positive consensus on. What else would he have been working with Stanley on all offseason? Yeah, I really like KOK as a qb coach. With him being able to focus on one group, he has so far really shown just how good of a coach and talent evaluator he is.JVB's dropoff from junior to senior year when KOK left and GD came in was telling.
