Wainwright could be lost for season

Hate to break it to you, but the Cubs and Cards aren't the only two teams in that division. It's funny how much of a little brother complex Cardinals fans have.,

We have a little brother complex? There have to be smart cub fans out there. It's called a rivalry. You last won a world series when? And the cards? Makes me wonder who has the little brother complex. Ppl around here say ISU has a little brother complex because they are worse and irrelevant. Sounds like the cubs to me.

No people say ISU has a little brother complex because they talk about Iowa all the time and they are constantly comparing themselves to Iowa.

Every Cardinal fans response ends with them comparing themselves to the Cubs. Even before you know that person is a Cubs fan. Do you Cardinal fans even know what to say when they're talking to a fan of another team and your go to comeback of "you haven't won a world series in how long" doesn't apply?

So who do the cubs compare themselves to? The pirates? No. The cards. It's not a little brother complex, it's called a rivalry. Cubs fans do the same stuff, bud, whether you want to admit it or not. I talk good baseball with plenty of fans, I just know a cub fan when I see (read) one.

Totally blows. And KMOX has been conjecturing today Pujols might end up a Cub after this year. Might as well save me a spot on the I-80 bridge so I can jump off.

BTW....Cubs fans = ISU fans...always disparaging the better program. I just ignore them....they usually disappear by the 3rd week of July anyway.

Exactly Cub Fans = Cyclone fans

Everyone needs to step back away from the edge. There are two things I know when it comes to Cubs, Cardinals, & Pujols. It is laughable to hear a Cubs fan accuse Cardinals Nation of having little brother complex. I mean can you even compare the two franchises? Lets not mention that the Cardinals are a winning organization year in year out in a "small market". How many more WS are the Cards going to win before the Cubs finally do? 1? 2? 4? I know one things for sure. I am 31 years old and I hope and pray I die before the Cubs win one. The second thing to all of this is no way in hell the Cardinals will let Pujols go to the Cubs. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Pujols is going to go to whatever team puts the biggest pile of money on the table. Personally, I hope that isn't the Cubs.

No he won't be, the Cards are not stupid Pujols will give them any chance to match any offers and they will.

Well I'll enjoy watching the Cards match the Yankees 8 year/ $250 M offer then spend the rest of the decade running out an aging Pujols surrounded by a group of scrubs. Good times either way.

I bet not as much as I have enjoyed watching the Cubs aging squad surround the 8 year/ $136 M worthless contract of Soriano. We get a HOF'er for 8 more years....you get Soriano. mmmkay.

But back to Wainwright. Yup, that sucks. Gonna have to do some major scrambling. Nothing like losing a 20 game winner before the season starts.:mad:

Which has 4 years left. When/if Pujols signs with the Cardinals he'll be 1 year older than Soriano was when he signed his deal with the Cubs. Of course, that assumes he's 31.
