I wanted Davis gone as much as the next guy, but Wadley turned from a low recruited RB to a guy who had to weigh his decisions on whether or not to leave early for the Pros his junior year and was used in the rushing and passing game. Why on earth would he want any sort of change?
I shake my head when I read this. Sometimes I think posters don't know all that much about KF or choose to ignore things about KF. At any rate, it will depend on KF whether Wadley gets his touches. Wadley will have to overcome KF bugaboos like committing turnovers and maintaining a respectable weight. It doesn't matter to the offensive genius, KF, if Wadley is the best offensive player on the team.Yes, Wadley I am sure thought he could have touched the ball another 200 times this past year but he also knew Daniels was a big part of pounding the other teams front 8. All you have to do is watch the rushing attack on video against Michigan where Daniels just gave crushing hit after crushing hit behind the hits by the offensive line and Wadley dished out the hits but also broke a few ankles. Same thing happened against Ilinois and Nebby at the end of the year.
Wadley knew if he came back he would get his touches.

Did Davis' departure dictate Wadley's decision to return? No way did Wadley dictate Davis' departure. No way.

Hope he learns the plays of the new OC.
I think you don't know as much about KF as you think you do. But then, you've never been the brightest bulb on the string anyway.I shake my head when I read this. Like I posted before, it doesn't matter to KF if Wadley is the best offensive player Iowa has, it only matters if Wadley doesn't fumble and gains weight. To think some coach other than KF runs Iowa's offense would be a foolish notion. I've already pointed to KF's 'geniusness' when it comes to offense...not.I think Wadley lost one fumble this year and with Daniels graduated Wadley will be the main running back. Sure KF can be a stubborn blockhead at times but as things are right now Wadley can run and catch.
