Wade and Bosh to Miami Heat

If all of this is true then the Chicago Bulls are the biggest free agent losers in history. They gave away a player (Hinrich) to make cap room along with their #1 pick in this years NBA draft. As a Bulls fan I find it disheartening that no top free agent has signed with the Bulls since the Jordan era which leads me to believe there is some truth to the accusations that the Bulls are a disloyal franchise.

wait for the headlines to say

"IM BACKKKKKK!!"

Yeah right, they were going after Lebron hard core and then pursue Wade and Bosh then end up hoping to get Boozer? You are right, the Bulls have some talent in Rose and Noah. But that makes it even more embaressing that the top free agents do not want to come here since they had the money to sign more than 1 free agent. Any combination of Bosh, LB, or Wade and the Bulls are instantly a contender for the title next year.

Yeah everybody was going after LeBron hardcore, only one team could get him though. It was a long shot Wade would ever leave Miami. It was a let down not to get Bosh, but Bosh alone isn't going to win a title. They didn't waste two years trying to get LeBron, they have been competitive the last two seasons but haven't been able to get past the first round. The Knicks have been terrible on purpose the last two years, won't it be a lot more embaressing for them to not get LeBron?

Not really, all New York had to sell was their huge NY market. The Bulls not only have a decent market but a fairly good, young, team to build a top FA around. While Bosh alone would have drametically improved the Bulls I always knew that getting Bosh probably meant getting either Wade or Lebron as well.

But with Bosh & Wade ending up in Miami if Lebron is serious about landing both money and a shot at the NBA title then his best options would be to either arrange a sign and trade with Miami or take the Bull's money. I don't think there is enough in Cleveland to get past both Boston and Miami.

The Cavs aren't going to do a sign and trade with the Heat. They're not going to help LeBron got an extra 30M in exchange for Michael Beasley. If Cleveland stays the same as last year they will still have a good shot at getting to the Finals. Boston will be another year older, and possibly minus Ray Allen with Perkins coming off of serious surgery. How good Miami is will depend on how good of role players they can surround Bosh and Wade with. Those two alone do not guarantee a title. Orlando would be good again but will lose Reddick and Matt Barnes, so Cleveland would still have a good shot of coming out of the east.

Toronto did not want to do a sign and trade with Miami either but when faced with losing a player and getting nothing in return they caved in. If Lebron wants to join Bosh and Wade in Miami then they will have to get creative in order to make that happen because Lebron still wants to get paid.

I agree, with Lebron Cleveland still has a shot at winning the East but do they have enough to defeat whoever comes out of the West? Lebron wants 3 things an NBA title, Money, and a better market to promote himself in. Lebron would have a better shot at an NBA title with either the Bulls or the Heat.

They haven't announced yet whether Toronto is doing a sign and trade with Bosh or not. They don't want Beasley, no one in the league does, if anything they want Miami's trade exemption and their pick next year.

HAHA.....can't believe you are buying this pin.....we'll see who is right and who is wrong....

Yep. Also Lebron makes less now in endorsements than he did his rookie year, the only bonus about Miami is no state income tax. Bosh already passed up nearly 30 million leaving Toronto, he isn't taking less. Bosh said he would make his move after he knew what Lebron was doing, Bosh and Wade both know LBJ isn't going to Miami or they wouldn't have had a presser today. Also Lebron isn't going to embarrass his hometown on ESPN in an hour special, it just isn't going to happen. Lebron is a Cav, now the Cavs turn their attention to trading for Chris Paul or Al Jefferson.

I hope you are right, just because making Cleveland fans watch an hour special to hear he is leaving would be flat out cruel and disrespectful, even if the money is going to the Boys & Girls Club or kitten prosthetics or whatever.

But if he is staying he's certainly going the distance to throw people off, huh?

LeBron James Plans Weekend Party in South Beach!

fufred, get the ketchup out as it looks like you are eating crow.

Miami is offering 99 million over 5 years which is 30 million less than the Cavs is offering for 6 years. He must think he can make up the extra 30 million in endorsements or his other businesses down in Miami.

Lol, you're so far off here......totally wrong. Worse yet u state it as a fact.....

im not even a nba fan but i may be cuz i proved u wrong said he would join soon as those fellas went to miami bout 20 mins after they announced fufred

awww thank you

I'm still stunned. LBJ really boned the Cavs, took over the most hated sports person from Art Modell. Pin was right I was wrong. Wow, I guess I'll stick to recruiting predictions. At least I'm good at that........

Good call pinn, I really did not believe it would happen either. I cannot imagine ever telling someone no thanks to 30 million dollars.

he wants to be known for championships not his money question is will his championships be "tarnished" because of the teamates he has a so called super team??

i say it don't matter its a team effort and a championship is a championship
