Wade and Bosh to Miami Heat

I'm guessing no. To me it now makes more sense for James to stay in Cleveland and than we can hear all about the big Cavs/Heat game next season. (I will say this though, James needs a running mate if he wants to win a title)

Lebron to follow??

In a word no. Miami couldn't afford all three at the max, with the MLE and vet minimum they would have to pay to fill out the roster they in all actuality could only give LeBron 9 million if Bosh and Wade are maxed out. Not gonna happen. Anyhow LeBron was never leaving, this has just been an attention getting circus, he's laughing at ESPN for giving him an hour tomorrow......

It'll be interesting to see who else the Heat can sign. Just Bosh and Wade aren't going to win them a title and they basically have no one else on the team now. If they could pick up Ray Allen or another quality shooter that would really help Wade out even more.

I guess it was not all about winning for these 2. They have just 4 players on the roster including these 2 and the other 2 are Chalmers and Beasley...and just 12mil to fill out the other roster spots..

They need to get a center first, Bosh has said he doesn't want to play center. Of course, they'll probably need to wait and see what LeBron does Thursday before making any moves.

they have already said they will take pay cuts as so have other players at miami to get him to come...these guys want to win thats whats going to happen

Lol, you're so far off here......totally wrong. Worse yet u state it as a fact.....

just watched interview with both wade and bosh and wade said he would take a pay cut to make it work. both lebron and wade make lots of money off the court so bosh more than likely wouldn't take a big loss but if lebron and wade wanted to do it they easily could so i don't think im far off unless your an insider for miami heat

Problem is if they sign LBJ they will be at the max cap right there with 5 whole players on the roster...exactly how are they going to fill out the rest of the rosters spots, nobody is going to come play for free.

The NBA is a business and as much as these NBA players would like to win a championship they will look out for #1 (themselves) first and foremost. We have all seen a few top athletes in different sports sacrifice a million here or there (or defer the money) in order to bring in that free agent they think will put them over the top. But in this case we are talking millions of dollars. Who in their right mind would play a sport where 1 wrong step could mean the end of their career would give up a 20+ million dollar contract when they are in their prime of their career?

Yep. Also Lebron makes less now in endorsements than he did his rookie year, the only bonus about Miami is no state income tax. Bosh already passed up nearly 30 million leaving Toronto, he isn't taking less. Bosh said he would make his move after he knew what Lebron was doing, Bosh and Wade both know LBJ isn't going to Miami or they wouldn't have had a presser today. Also Lebron isn't going to embarrass his hometown on ESPN in an hour special, it just isn't going to happen. Lebron is a Cav, now the Cavs turn their attention to trading for Chris Paul or Al Jefferson.

Where have you seen that LeBron makes less in endorsments now than he did as a rookie? There's no way that's right.

If all of this is true then the Chicago Bulls are the biggest free agent losers in history. They gave away a player (Hinrich) to make cap room along with their #1 pick in this years NBA draft. As a Bulls fan I find it disheartening that no top free agent has signed with the Bulls since the Jordan era which leads me to believe there is some truth to the accusations that the Bulls are a disloyal franchise.

They really aren't in terrible shape even if they don't get any big name. They gave away an over paid back up guard. Yes they gave away the 17th pick, but it was in a pretty shallow draft. They still have Rose and Noah to build around. There's still several good players out there and as long as they don't over pay anyone they'll be fine. They broke up a team that couldn't get past the first round to take a shot at being great, if it doesn't work, so what? It won't be hard to get back to the level they were at last season.

Yeah right, they were going after Lebron hard core and then pursue Wade and Bosh then end up hoping to get Boozer? You are right, the Bulls have some talent in Rose and Noah. But that makes it even more embaressing that the top free agents do not want to come here since they had the money to sign more than 1 free agent. Any combination of Bosh, LB, or Wade and the Bulls are instantly a contender for the title next year.
