Vote for new Cyhawk Trophy

I like #3...#2 is unreal...and are we really going to vote for another Mascot trophy like we had?? It was the ugliest trophy in college football history
 
They'd have to blur out #2 for the sensors for TV. That thing is priceless. I went #3, but wouldn't necessarily have a problem with #1.
 
Once again theyre going to fall flat on their faces. I understand that they are the sponsors, but Iowa corn is going to swing and miss. These three are all they could come up with? IMO it was either put Kinnick and jack trice on the trophy, or bust. Looks like it's a bust. Smh. Just disappointing.
 
they're all bad because they keep trying to force corn into it somehow. hate to break it to you ICGA, but corn doesn't really make for an awesome trophy.
 
Like another poster said, I don't like how the ICGA is pushing this corn thing on us. We should have a trophy that relates to the two schools and not a trophy designed specifically to please the said sponsor at the time. Hell everyone on this website sponsors the Hawks or Clones in one way or another and we'll be here for a long time. Designing a new trophy every few years makes this rivalry mean nothing more than a sad attempt to get tv time for the sponsor.

It's not like corn has nothing to do with our state. It makes sense to me that the trophy is ag-themed. I think it's a lot better than using the mascots or anything else.

I like the middle one, if I was forced to pick.

I think the mascot one is really weak.

Nothing could be worse than the family on the first attempt.
 
I saw someone on CF had an idea of making it like a WWE championship belt, and calling it the Corn Belt. I think that would actually be pretty funny.

That's what I initially thought.

Choice # 1 horrible... mascots?

Choice # 2 Hmmm..

Choice # 3 How boring, how bland, how only a sponsored trophy by Iowa Corn could even be considered.

I voted for # 2 and then after reading this thread went and looked at it again and shook my head. What did I miss the first time? Is it always about subliminal inuendo? Who will profit?

Mother Earth? Gaia?
 
Why does it have to be an actual trophy? The best "trophies" are the quirky things.....the Axe, the Bucket, the Spitoon, etc.

This shouldn't be that hard....
