Thanks for the video USAF.

I read in an interview that Precin said he executed the pre-match strategy perfectly. Looks like that strategy in the first period was the tie up and stall (he stalled the "Iowa way" by tying up and moving forward). There was only one move by either wrestler the entire period and Precin executed it well. McD didn't attempt a single move and the match was essentially won in the first period. It seems strange McD was taken out of his execution so well. I don't recall seeing a similar match as that one in McD's short career. It seems the malaise that impacted Iowa hit everybody, especially on the second day of the tournament. Looking forward to the Okie State dual as a good test of their progress.

I see a lot that can be done to win this matchup. McD was close to a reversal and almost had the leg a couple of times but came up short. He needs to keep precin off his head and he needs to shoot more and open the match up and push the pace more. Precin was keeping his legs back bigtime, block off up top and keep the legs back.

Easy to beat?? That sounds good but I can assure you that no matter how good Matt is it won't be easy to beat. Precin is a great wrestler and Matt has a lot of work to do to win another title this year. Do I think that he can do it? Absolutely! But he has a LOT of work to do to beat Precin and Robles when the bright lights are on in March!

i think robles is wrestling the best out of d1 wrestlers at this point in the year...killing ppl
