He doesn't seem like a really explosive athlete, but he's deceptively. All of his offensive game looks to be very crafty and everything seems to be very under control. He's not reckless at all. That probably goes along with being a good-but-not-great-leaper.
Now, it seemed like all the highlights are AAU games. Those are famous for being basketball where guys don't try too hard, everything is less intense and low pressure. Which would play into his game of crafty lane penetration.

Sorry, but if we're being picky, it's an adverb. Should have used an adjective.
Haha my bad. I meant to say that he's deceptively quick and a deceptively good leaper. He's just not an explosive basketball athlete.
