Very Interesting story out of the Ames Tribune!

I don't want to read the 38 page thread on Fanatic, but JP and Fred have already responded and denied parts of it. Did the stuff in the hotel ballroom really happen? What about the assistant coaches not getting travel spots for family members while the Athletic Department did?

The Tribune article looks well researched. Pollard's days at ISU look numbered.

His days are not numbered. You can't argue with what he has built there with money he helped raise. He will get rid of Rhoads and bring in the next football coach. Jamie is there for now unless he wants to leave on his own.

And ................. it's Iowa State so who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought JP was universally loved(minus the president)by everyone in the Iowa St. community. Obviously, I was wrong.

of course Folly is going to deny it - not a surprise.

Hoidberg also will deny - he has nothing to gain by saying otherwise - he doesn't need any distractions.

would be intereting to see if the ballroom story was true and the flight to the ncaa tourney story was true - the little bookkeeper nickname is likely correct - that ballroom story is embarrassing - but he saw it as a way to 'pad his stats' with the numbers. i wonder if he slept on the floor?

Okay JP and Hoi have done some interviews and they seem to say the article is only half true or something.

Two things:

1) A lot of people inside the ISU athletic dept and administration loathe Pollard;

2) the knives are coming out;

3) pollard won't be hiring Pwoud's replacement.

This story feels true. Pollard is a notorious meddler and cheapskate.
