If you have a truly bad problem, a chiropractor cannot help you. Believe me, I know.
Why does everyone think you need to be smart to study physics? Physics isn't terribly difficult or convaluded. Like any other scientific field, it has its own rules and language, but it has more practical applications than just about anything on the planet. It is incredibly approachable, but people seem to think all but genuises need to apply.
Ah, but they do procedures that are totally unnecessary and ineffective. Much of what they do can be accomplished at home with the proper exercises and stretches. Good for you if they help you, though.See the above 2 posts and this again supports why people utilize the profession. It works and is a portal to specialists if needed. Physicians are great for broken bones, recommending pharmaceuticals, etc., but they flat out stink at diagnosing musculoskeletal problems.
