ESPN and CNNSI are reporting that the dude resigned 2 months before kickoff. Not a good situation! Must have done something to a frosh during workouts.

I live here in Nashville, and I gotta say, I kinda enjoy going to the Vandy games. No, I have never seen them win, but it's a cheap ticket, the fans are extremely classy, and it's not a bad atmosphere...if you don't mind seeing the visitors fans outnumber the home teams fans, but I digress. The staduim could use a little overhaul, but all in all it has a ton of character. I also can't wait for the Northwestern vs. Vandy game held here the first week of the season. It will be the B10/SEC pillow fight. Minnesota is also heading over to Middle Tennessee State the first game of the season down in Murfreesboro later that evening. Might have to make both of those.

As a graduate student at Vanderbilt, going to the football games is a pretty good way to spend a Saturday. I get tickets for $25 for the whole season and get free parking not to mention get to see some of the better teams in the country. As for Johnson retiring, it sounds like in order to save his marriage and home life he needed to do this. He was a good coach here in Nashville and did a great job getting Vanderbilt some national recognition in recent years.........
