Utoff saved the ball in bounds.

The play that cracked me up was when the 2 OSU guys were tripping over each other trying to save the ball on Iowa's baseline and the ball bounced off one guy's face (while out of bounds) and the ref didn't call it. Only when the ball landed in Jok's hands and he went up for an easy layup did they finally whistle it dead. Correct call but it was comical at how long they allowed the play to progress.

It's basketball. I expect that there are going to be calls I disagree with as well as missed calls. The two that left dumbfounded were the one where Sapp went up for the layup and got chest bumped (slammed) by osu midair and no call was made. Then the exact same thing happened on the other end of the floor 2 minutes later and got whistled.

The other was when their big hooked Olaseni in the lane and they whistled Olaseni for the foul.

Again, these things happen. I loved that Iowa didn't hang their heads and pout. They manned up and gutted out a win. Awesome win Hawkeyes!

Haha really?!?! We're even going to ***** when they get the call right?

Sometimes when you see a play as a ref that is unconventional it can throw you off and take you a second to realize what happ. That's all that occurred. You make it sound as though he makes a conscious decision to make the call just to avoid giving Iowa the basket.

That call was 10 times easier to make than the instacall on Uthoff's save attempt. I see that crap with fouls too. Sometimes the whistle comes at the exact same time as the contact occures. Sometimes we get fouled on the shot attempt but the whistle doesn't occure until another guy gets the put back. Or we drive the lane for an easy basket and they call a foul on the floor at the exact same time it's obvious we are going to score.

It's hard to tell from tv sometimes if there is contact or not so I like to pay attention to when the whistle is blown. When there are anticipation whistles on one end of the floor and not the other, that's when I assume we're getting screwed.

Calm your nuts, I merely said it was comical at how the entire play unfolded. Sometimes it's cool to play the Devils advocate but this isn't one of those instances.

Ohio State got the majority of the calls including some bad ones. Pretty much every road game in conference play is this way. We have to be better than the officiating and the opponent and we were. It happens to most every road team in the conference so it tends to even out...with the exception of 2 or 3 coaches that also seem to get the same advantage on the road. We all know who these coaches are.
