I think it's BS Kirk Ferentz isn't rolling out the redd carpet, no pun intended. A player like Redd in our offense makes us one of the best offenses in the B1G. It makes us a legitimate contender.

It isn't that USC needs a RB more than Iowa it's because USC is a national title contender. Iowa isn't even a division title contender. That's why Iowa won't land him. Again, these players can transfer anywhere they want and play NOW, they will choose to go to title contending teams - especially the upperclassmen that transfer.

Kiffin is smart, he is doing what the Iowa coaches should be doing. There is no shame in going after PSU players, it is totally legit. This is why other programs win titles and conference championships, they see an opportunity and go after it. IOwa has a huge need for RB's, DL, and WR's, we should be contacing every one of the good ones on Penn St and seeing if they are interested in PT on a decent team. Otherwise, move on. Not hard.
