Seriously, this is what the head coach's wife wears to a tailgate??
You hoping for pantsuits?

I think it's BS Kirk Ferentz isn't rolling out the redd carpet, no pun intended. A player like Redd in our offense makes us one of the best offenses in the B1G. It makes us a legitimate contender.

Iowa needs that win at all cost attitude it takes to get these kind of players.
If there's any situation that should make us glad we don't have that kind of coach this would be it wouldn't it? You'd rather have our coach stretch his integrity than one that's solid in his convictions?
Get back to me after our first loss. THAT is how soon people on this board will forget all about PSU...
I have a hard time believing that the NCAA would let them go over their scholarship limit.
Does it anyone find it ironic that there are going to be teams going hard after PSU players just for the sake of winning more games when PSU was punished for having a "football is king" attitude? Seems like making exceptions to the transfer rules and scholarship limit merely enforces the belief that football is more important.
No, and I get that they were in knoxville, tn at the time, but still...Mrs. Head Coach should not parade around like a working girl before the game, imo.
It's tacky, and low class. Not at all surprising, however.
How else do you get guys to spend four years in Knoxville?
You gotta admit, she certainly looks ready to HOst a few recruits.
lulz
knoxville is a sh!thole; as close as I'd ever live to it would be Farragut and even then...no thanks
I wouldn't call it a sh!thole, but neither would I be able to answer how they have gotten some of the recruits they have gotten over the years.
In all actuality, a ton of SEC and ACC schools have nice towns, beautiful campuses, etc. It's the "mindset" of both their fanbases and admins/coaches/etc. that I can't fathom.
Bobby, with all due respect: when was the last time you spent time in knoxville?
I spend (business) time there at least 6x per year. Trust me, it's a bona fide sh!thole.
As for the other SEC schools, here are my opinions of the locales I've visited:
Alabama: Tuscaloosa is ok, but it definitely has some nasty parts.
Auburn: Nicer than Tuscaloosa, smaller, but also has rough areas.
South Carolina: Columbia is the state capitol, so it's a big town feel, but the SC campus is meh.
Vanderbilt: I have never understood why people think Nashville is desirable; I find it to be crass and full of ignorant sh!theels. Campus is nice enough, but everywhere around it is gross.
Georgia: Athens is a good town; reminds me of Iowa City in a lot of ways.
Mississippi State: Argh! Starkville is freakin' NASTY.
I'll save my opinions of the ACC school locales for another time.

I wonder if Layla ever spent any time with Bruce Pearl? BTW Layla's hot but she's definitely no Jen Bielema.
