I think they have Iowa far to low at home against Penn St and probably a tad to high @ Wisconsin. Otherwise, probably spot on.

don't too much stock into the UNI - Ia State game - remember in 2009 we had to block two field goals in the final seconds to win. We finished 11-2 and were 10 points and an injured Stanzi away from an undefeated regular season

I have NOT been on any Cyclone boards. But, I can say, with reasonable certainty, that the phrase, "UNI would KILL Miami/OH!" shows up as a theme.

Hahaha spot on. I couldn't get hawkeyenation to load on my work computer, 403 Forbidden error and I was bored so I ventured over there to check in on them. They definitely said that UNI would destroy Miami many, many times and that the reason they didn't throw deep was because UNI played 3 deep safeties all game daring them too. Said the coaches wanted Purdy to stay in the pocket and not run. Talked about all the close games Iowa had with UNI, you know - the one 10 years ago that has no bearing on this year. I don't remember last year being that close.

While they aren't as delusional as Nebraska, having a winning record the last couple years has definitely gone to their heads.

Dave Wannstedt from BTN has Iowa 3rd in the conference in his power rankings after week 1, ahead of Wisconsin at #5. Nebby #8 and NW #9.
