Uniform Announcement?

Was just looking at the pro combat uniforms from last year and was wondering when they will anounce who will be wearing them this year... If anyones knows feel free to share.
 
If they are going to look like the ones I have seen for Iowa as potentials I hope they don't get picked. The all yellow ones are awful.
 
I loved the black ones with the smoke black helmet...pretty cool looking. Sticks with the old school style but brings a little more flavor. Hopefully they do it for the Nebraska game, it would be awesome exposure.

They were just ahead of their time, they really aren't that much different from what Oregon's uniforms look like this year.

Also, the teams selected to wear the pro combat uniforms usually wear them against another pro combat team. The only team I could see us possibly wearing them against is Michigan St, so I think it's pretty unlikely that we get chosen.

Besides the ones they wear now. I like the one from I believe 65 not sure if thats the year but it has IOWA written in cursive on the side Id like to see those wore.

Not sure where you get that, if there's a statistic or you're just going by your observation but Ohio St wore theirs against Michigan and Michigan was Adidas apparel (no pro combat available) at the time- same thing with Pitt against WVU in the Backyard Brawl. A team like TCU wore a special Pro Combat against Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl and if I remember correctly wore their standard Pro Combats multiple times.

Even using that logic, Pitt already has them so that is another option and there are rumors of Purdue being a 2011 Pro Combat team so there are more relevant possibilities to just MSU. Not saying I really want them, but I've said a few times on the subject... if the kids like 'em, and they can be done leveraging a throwback or something similar... eh, why not.

How about all black uni's for our blackout games? Black pants with the all black helmet taking the hawk off would be sick I think. Stadium in black, night game, back n black leading the hawks out in all black uni's. No one could be us...

OK...except you can't remove the Tigerhawk on the helmet. Why remove something that is that kick a$$?
