How do we grow us a pair like Jacobson's crew? Some of them guys are stone cold vanilla assassins.

1H1, that's made my whole evening....Fairfax is a chump.....the silly thing about this is I have twin boys that played w/Nate Buss in high school.....kid can shoot.....happy for him...

You can use sarcasm all you want too he is playing on a team ranked #18 in both polls. Did iowa get votes? Sarcasm aside, did iowa at least get votes?
 
Yes, UNI is winning, and I grudgingly give them respect for pulling out games the way they are. That said, it's not exactly like they are winning at Ohio St., Minnesota or going into Madison and getting a W. The MVC is pretty weak this year.

I love Iowa, but I also am a UNI fan whenever they aren't playing the Hawks. You are not a representative of UNI fans. Most are decent human beings. You are a trolling ***. I'm going to dedicate my life to inventing a time machine so I can go back in time and castrate your father before he has a chance to rape his sister and produce a pathetic troll like you.

Is this the year Ben finally earns a Div 1 job? What more can he accomplish than getting UNI to a top 18 ranking...the best in school history?

Yeah we are beating teams better than Minnesota according to the RPI, we have beaten 4. Not better than Ohio State yet. I guarantee we wouldn't lose by more than 32 to Wisconsin.

Also are you allowed to make comments about teams in the Top 25 if you aren't even receiving votes? I think there is a rule about that.

Come on man!!! I just went and looked to see when I post, you did know could do that right? I was on this very board the of and after we lost to Evansville. So your theory is bunk. Plus we have only lost twice so the sample size isn't very big.
 
Until UNI starts stealing recruits from Iowa (meaning Iowa offers and the recruit chooses UNI instead), I am going to root for UNI. Jacobson is a damn good coach, I don't much like his style of play, but it works, and I will root for them in the tournament.

This doesn't have to be a zero sum game for Hawkeye fans - just enjoy these years that the state is full of good basketball.
