UNI is NAILS

Thanks Windsor. I was about to post the same stats. Unfortunately, I'm afraid Fairfax is one of those, "My mind is made up. Don't confuse me with the facts" kinda guy.

Gentlemen all of those stats are fine and dandy but I am confused about the point you were trying to make. What it really boils down too is that we are #18 in the country, have an RPI of 22, and we smoked iowa allowing them only 44 points. UNI has 10 games left should go 9-1 or 8-2. It seems iowa has 11(?) and will go 2-9 3-8. UNI is in the Tournament and iowa gets in the CBI angainst Slippery Rock.

Apparently you have, and it's extremely tiresome.....now if you would like to talk in a civil manner, then so-be-it, if not, get off, and try and keep it that way....now, I could "ignore" you, but I'm hopeful that maybe you will actually enlighten us with just a little wisdom and fact, instead of your mindless drivel...I am a former UNI panther myself, and unfortunately sir, you have given the university a black eye with your nonsense.....I eluded earlier that my sons played w/Nate Buss in high school, and he hit the game winner the other day, and I'm very proud of him for that, so maybe you can re-think your response the next time you have something to say.....grow up or gtfo...

You think Iowa will win 2 games and UNI will only lose 2 before the end of the year. Keep smoking the crack and enjoy your welfare checks.

Both resumes are incomplete. But UNI's resume is far from dazzling. They better win at home this weekend to get a signature win.

Side Note - When Iowa moves back into the RPI top 50 UNI will have a neutral court win...but I'm going by today's rankings and we're 52.

Where did you get your numbers? UNI is actually 1-1 against the Top 50 and 2-1 against 51-100. iowa is 3-5 against Top 50 and 2-2 against 51-100. Joe Lunardi provided my numbers.

Thanks to Iowa sucking lately, UNI does not currently have a top 50 win but they are 4-1 against the 50-100.

But they have played as good a schedule as you can expect a quality mid major to get. @VCU, @SFA, Richmond, George Mason, Iowa, Won a tournament (not there fault that NW and VT are awful).

I have seen them flucuate but Lunardi has them at 48 in the RPI. He either has his own or uses ESPN's.

Your Iowa projection is wrong. You know it. Your fellow trolls know it. Iowa fans...even the most cynical...know it. BUT if 2 or 3 Iowa starters are lost for the year and you end up being right UNI better win this weekend or they will have ZERO top 50 wins at the end of the season.

How many times are you going to contradict yourself in this thread? It was just a couple posts ago that you wanted fellow posters to explain the rating systems to you. You don't even know what "the source" is per your own posts.

It's a shame you waste so much of your time on here trying to get people riled. You don't bother me at all. I like a good fiction novel. Reading your posts is simply reading fiction...just at an elementary school level.

I think UNI would fare well in the BIG this season. Probably end up in the 3-5 spot. They have depth, inside post presence and shooters.

And guards that penetrate and finish,
they play clamp-down defense,
they are first-on-the-floorers,
they huddle and communicate/encourage one another,
they play for one another,
and they are tough-minded.

They have a complete team.

There are probably a couple of dozen teams that have more talent than UNI.
There are not a couple of dozen more complete teams.
There are not a couple of dozen of teams more tough-minded than UNI.

They are fun to watch.

They would do very well in any conference not named the ACC or Big 12-2.
