Look at their SOS, RPI, Pomeroy - absolutely cannot fathom these two teams being 4 seeds apart. So dumb.

Was thinking the same thing when Butler popped up as a 5...not with the info you're pulling from, but just from a "they're not THAT much better than UNI" eyeball test perspective.

Other #9 seeds = Wake Forest, Florida State, and Louisville.

#8 seeds = UNLV, Gonzaga, Texas, and Cal

Looks like committee looked at loss at Evansville as half of UNI's season. Bad loss, but they dropped a lot. Midwest is packed with tough teams as said earlier. Maryland can be added to list said before.

I would hope not, they still have to look at your body of work no matter when you finished. But you never know.
