Wichita St. lost their first game of the season yesterday to a 5-3 Tennessee team. That makes UNI a double-super must win game now.

I would argue that it is a triple-double must win game now, not a double super must win.

Good news everyone, we can still go to the tournament!!! We aren't eliminated yet!!

Reminder: we are starting 3 freshman and a sophomore so anything can happen, I'm encouraged by our improvement but trying to keep realistic expectations. If fran can get this team in the dance he deserves coach of the year! So far the Hawks have beaten one decent non top 25 team ISU, beating UNI will help but losing won't kill their chances, there will be plenty of opportunities in the Big Ten, if they win 10 games against Big Ten teams I think they are in!

Actually, I was impressd with the quality of UNI. I think they are a Damn good team, and will show it in the games to come.

Either way, his performance in elimination games is reminiscent of another legendary coach, one Stephen Todd Alford. Good company to be in.
