Tyler Wiegers Headed to Eastern Michigan

So sounds like Wiegers graduated with a degree in Human Physiology. I thought he was a biomedical engineer major but he must have switched or maybe I heard wrong.

Human Physiology is the science of how the human body functions in health and disease. The curriculum offers rigorous study of human physiology across the molecular/cellular, systems, organism, and behavioral levels.

Human Physiology students often continue their studies in health professional programs to become physicians/surgeons, physical therapists, physician assistants, dentists, optometrists, podiatrists, or similar professionals. Others pursue graduate degrees (MS and/or PhD) in the biomedical or physiological sciences to prepare for careers in research and/or college teaching. Students who choose not to pursue advanced degrees are well qualified for employment in research or clinical laboratories.

Good luck to Tyler. I hope everything works out for both his career on and off the field.

we've got to lead the B1G in qb's that become doctors?

We will never know what he could have done. Was supposedly neck and neck with Stanley up until the week before the first game, then Stanley played virtually every single snap of the season, including blowouts. It's kind of a shame that the Ferentz system is all or nothing. Just ask Bo Bower's backup.

Hayden didn’t do things that way. He got backups in to get them ready for future service. It’s a damn shame. I wish him the best of luck. We are going to pay for this mindset with our linebacker crew next season.

And Boyle’s gone too.

No way he stays with Mansell and Petras on the roster.

He’d have to sit a year to play one and there’s no guarantee he would get to start anywhere at that point. His best move is to change positions much like AJ Derby.

One last parting shot. And I'm not complaining...I'm chuckling.

Part of it is the ball control offense that results in low scoring games. There rarely is enough of a lead to put in the backup QB. I'm not saying Iowa should go away from ball control offense, but low scoring games that leave lesser teams within striking distance has been a feature.

Ball control offense? More like inept offense with zero playmakers.

Wrong. He’s graduating. He can play two more years immediately.

He’s not going to play over the receivers we already have and with Stanley, Mansell, Petras on board he’ll never see the field. Boyle will either leave to play somewhere else or ride the pine for the rest of his time at Iowa.

I don't believe he was really ever neck and neck with Stanley. But I don't know for sure. Mansell is Now backup....with a 4 star coming in.

Wish Wiegers the best.
