Twenty Teams with the Best Title Shot- ESPN

She shorted us 2 returning starters and still has us number 1. If anyone tells her we have 16 returning starters, she'll probably consider us a lock for the title.

Interesting, I have read/heard Iowa has anywhere between 14 - 18 returning starters. Guess it's how you look at it. How come kickers are never considered 'starters'? They have, arguably, a greater impact on the game than 75% of the other 'starters'.

That's a good point. I'm guessing that Rieff isn't considered to be a starter by many publications, even though he saw loads of playing time and did start three games last year.

Exactly. They might not be classified as "starters" but many have had a lot of Big 10 playing time. Also, can't overlook the impact of Donohue. A team that plays great defense & has a punter that can change field position is very dangerous & usually in each game.

Apparently, if you're playing at home, you're invincible? At least, that's what this lady seems to think if she believes we'll have the "easiest" time reaching the title... >_>
