TV for Iowa/UNI

my yamaha receiver has something called an "audio return channel" which actually sends the over-the-air signal from the tv antenna back to my surround receiver via HDMI. i was pleasantly surprised with that feature.

Does that make it dolby digital? Or is it still 3.2? That would be nice not having to switch the audio input, but I'm sure you still have to switch the input on the TV, right?

Zing

Sorry for my apparent lack of knowledge on tv games being aired on normal channels. Instead of being a dbag maybe explain why the game isnt on normal channels vs the digital channels.

what would you like to know?

i am not trying to ****** out...its just that i have explained all of this many, many times on this site.

what do you consider "normal" channels?

thats the main issue with TV these days. there are a dozen different ways to get TV delivered to your house. yet everyone feels as though they are entitled to see every show they please.

years ago, when everyone was watching TV over the air, or at worst local channels over cable, it wasnt an issue.

yeah...i think it just retains whatever the native format is. i am not much of an audiophile

I used to get espn3 on through my xbox live....I just tried and it seems as though I do not have an internet provider from their list. What does it take!! Try again.

Watching Iowa BB is like trying to get your nintendo game to work!
