Turkey vs Ham, Pumpkin Pie vs Pecan Pie on Thanksgiving

Turkey all the way. I have a relative who last year ate ham, I just laughed. Ham should be for Christmas. Pumpkin Pie for me with whipped cream. Kathy's Pies in Cedar Rapids has the best. Should be a fun 48 hours!

Honestly, I'm not a big mafia/gang movie type of person. The only movie from the Mafia film genre that I like is Goodfellas. Some day I will rent The Godfather.

You must watch Godfather I & Godfather II - back to back at least once per year.
How can one go through life without intimate knowledge of "leave the gun, take the cannolies"????

Gotta have the turkey today and I'll have the pecan pie with a half of container of whipped cream on top (or a scoop of vanilla ice cream).
 
We do Turkey, ham, stuffing, Hawaiian bread, cheesy potatoes, but I'm not as big a Thanksgiving eater as I used to be.

What I love is leftover Turkey sandwiches, or turkey and dressing sandwiches. I'll be taking those to work for the next week.
