Why he left not announced but minutes were going down as the season went on so it was expected. I can't imagine tubby tried to talk him out of it. As for Mbakwe and a sixth year I was surprised too. The decisions on NCAA waivers in general make absolutely no sense.

I can't believe that at 23 years old, Mbakwe is so intent on spending another year in college.

As far as Tubby making more room on his roster, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ahanmisi decide to take his talents somewhere else as well to make room for another transfer.
