Wirfs did not give up a sack last year. I think Jackson was one of the highest rated pass protectors in the conference according to PFF. Is this the year when we finally go all NE Patriots and throw 40+ times per game if teams overplay the run? And then run 40+ fullback leads when they overcorrect and play the pass?

Yep sure, with an inaccurate QB and no receivers, after losing 2 first round draft picks at TE. Yeah we will be slinging it all over. Dump off, dump off, dump off. 2 yards at a time all the way down the field.

Miller is a big dude. He was 305 heading into his senior year of high school. I'm sure he's up to 310 to 315 now. That's a big, big boy. Kallenberger has the frame to add 30 pounds easily...although he doesn't have the natural size of Wirfs...Ezra Miller does. Plumb is 6'8"...and he'll be 300 or so in no time too.

Yeah, we've had a lot of countryboy lineman at Iowa. Few if any had the physique of Wirfs.
 
Though we almost had Cyrus Kouandjio when we were on that DeMatha run...
