Trey Zeigler?

I'm sure he may evaluate their skill, but doesn't give every one a call. That is just a dumb assumption.

I wouldn't mind having Trey come to ISU, but at this time, there is no room.

I find it funny that hawks tend to bag on Fred's quick fix method, but it's worked. And now he is bringing in HS talent to be groomed into the system and play with the talented transfers.

It has...for now, but here is the thing, call me biased if you will. I want to see both programs after 5 years. Other than Niang, who has Fred brought in from the HS ranks that is highly regarded?
Also, had Iowa not tricked 3 or 4 games down their leg this season, they would be in the same postseason tournament as ISU.
Iowa is building for the long-term and it appears ISU is building for today, not tomorrow.
I could be wrong on both, but I think Iowa fans have seen that blueprint at Iowa before...

1.) You are obviously very biased.
2.) Their class next year is basically the same as Iowa's, so it seems they are ahead of Iowa now and have a lot of momentum for the future.
3.) You can't play the "besides Niang" and if Iowa wouldn't have lost to bad team cards in the same post.
4.) They are both building for the long term. ISU seems to have rolled the dice and won with the transfer strategy early on.

It will get really interesting if Norvel Pelle commits to the Clones and makes grades.

this kid was the 28th ranked overall recruit. as for some of his stats, he will have a year to work on those area's weaknesses such as FT's. for the long haul this would be a good pick up as he would step in to be a solid 2 when Marble gets ready to leave

You sure about this herby? There are only 2 scholarships available for 2013. If Spearman gets one, this kid, then there will not be one for Morgan.

Don't you trust this incoming recruiting class?
Who are you going to take minutes from?
Don't you have faith in Fran's skills?

:D

GOTCHU!

my popint about using is the idea of getting a 6th freshmen, and this kid is 6'5 and i like the Idea of a 6'5 to 6'7 player vs a 6'3 kid, and this kid will sit for a year, then they can still get Morgan at 6'7.
to me that is the biggest are of need 6'5 to 6'8 kids for the wing, in my opinion we don't need another 6'3 kid in this class

you got nothin, my stance on filling the scholatship stands, I am all for banking the ride. but Fran will do what Fran wants to do "not "something internet posters want

This might be the most intelligent post you have ever made on this forum.

Repent and thou shalt be saved!!!!!!!!!!!

you are off about the shoollies, Fran has just one left to give this year. Fran cannot take both unless one of them wants to walk-on,
I like the transfer because he is a 6'5 wg and would graduate with Marble, Basabe and McCabe, this vs a 6'3 sg of which we will have Ingram 6'3, Ogelsby 6'5, on board.
other than Marble @6'7 and May@ 6'5. we really have nobody to play on the outside 6'5 to 6'7 that is my point of holdind the last ride because it does not appear to be anybody that size that is looking at Iowa
Spearman would also graduate in the 2014 class but i am hearing his outside shooting is suspect, and this team as of now looks to be short on wing shooters

That's fine, I get it, but like I keep saying over and over if Fran thinks adding another player will help them win next year then go for it. If he wants to save it I am fine with that as well.
