All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Is anyone on the phone with this guy? Young men need a second chance. When you leave the tutelage of Nick, some men have trouble adjusting. A youngster like this guy needs an elder statesman of coaching, like the Ferentz family, to help him out. I don't know why Oregon is just giving up on him. He needs rehabilitative justice, not to be thrown aside like some common criminal. Have none of you ever made a mistake?
I'm sure there may be someone on the phone with him but I bet it isn't KF....

And we know Kirk has a track record of keeping troubled wide receivers on the straight and narrow. You guys probably remember one Riley McCarron, one of the all time speedsters to ever put on the black and gold. All he did was catch touchdowns and run back punts for the Hawks - never heard of any trouble while Kirk was watching over him.
It wasn't until McCarron muffed that punt for the Patriots and Belichick black-balled him from the league that he lost his way, got overserved at Joe's Place one night and into a scuffle, and then tried to run from Johnny Law.
These things happen, but Kirk clearly was a good influence during Riley's playing days.

Look, it was Valentine's Day and a party probably just got out of control. My guess is that all the charges were related to him trying to protect the honor of a young woman who was being accosted by a group of gentlemen. I can hear Peter Cetera playing in the background right now.

No, I wasn't. He wasn't just waving a gun around for no reason. Someone probably said a naughty word or impugned the integrity of one of his chums or perhaps a female interest of his. Those sorts of factors need to mitigate the charges. I'm old enough to remember when you used to be able to take over part of a city in the Pacific Northwest and the cops wouldn't even do anything.

He was there just long enough for the staff to collect his DNA and with Phil Knight's money they likely have 8 clones in process already.
After further consideration Holden was probably set up and framed because he wasn't needed anymore

Exactly. Let's hear the facts, get his defenses, let him know that we care about his road to rehabilitation and that we might have some playing time for him should he decide to relocate until the heat dies down. Orenthal James was presumed guilty by a lot of people, but once the jury heard the facts OJ's statement during his arraignment that he was "absolutely, 100 percent not guilty" was proven correct.
Commitment to the bit...Hell, he has been commiting to this bit for a decade+ at this point.
