Tough week for SOS

All 5 of the teams Iowa played this year lost during our bye week, and only one game was close

E Ill lost 35-7
ISU lost 68-27
Arizona lost 29-27
Ball St lost 45-16
Penn St lost 33-13

If we beat Michigan, they will have lost two in a row, we could be playing Wisconsin after losing 2 of 3, after that it is Indiana and Northwestern...If we win out, will we have to wait until the OSU game to be ranked in the top 10 of BCS?

If I had to I would bet that we would crack the top 10 before the OSU game. But it seems possible that a 9-1 Iowa team could be 11th or 12th.

Without looking, I think Mich state is after Wiscy? And they could be 8-0 inside the top 10.

My bad, you are correct, We play MSU after Wisconsin. As conservative KF is, I don't see us get alot of Love in the Polls until/if we win out and play Ohio State. The pollsters always look for a reason to downgrade Iowa until after the bowl game. I am okay with it, as long as the Hawks win I have no complaints at all.

Polls are totally meaningless for the Hawks this year. Either Iowa wins out,and goes to the Rose Bowl(my dream), or they lose a game, and will end up in the Outback or Capitol Bowl....none of it really matters...just win,Hawks!!
