Tough gutsy team that cant shoot

This team had better pick things up if they are going to have a winning season. Why can't we ever get any good shooters?

so far they look pretty much exactly like last year.... however last year they lose that game.

Hopefully the shooting gets better.

My first thought, too. After playing a game they should be more used to the depth perception and sights. I think they shoot better tonight.

The rim was still ten feet off of the floor, no? They'd better shoot better tonight because UTEP looks pretty big and athletic. That Tim Floyd can recruit. Not sure how he gets good players to play for him all of the time-not sure I want to know-but the guy can flat out coach and recruit.

IMHO, the transition defense was as bad as I have ever seen. We NEVER stopped the ball. Fran wins the coaching battle by making them go side to side, after he put on the press.

We were definitely getting out-hustled in the first 25 minutes, since Xavier got every loose ball and way too many offensive rebounds.

Thank God for RDM. Wow. What a game!

so, is the transition defense just a temporary mental lapse or something that will stick with us? That is what I will be interested to see...
