Top In-State Player 4 Years In a Row

The elephant in the chat room was just the natural question as to whether they are really so good to take schollies away from other more deserving recruits, which most people would consider a fair question. I'm in no way saying they are not worthy of the schollies because I've not seen them play, except for a few vids on Conner.

I read from other posters that they are both really good so that's encouraging and I'm sure this isn't another Lil' Lick situation.

My point was the term elephant in the room doesn't apply.

How exactly is Pemsl the top player in Iowa for 2016? He got some hype a few years ago, but has been hurt for two years now. No one knows if he will even be an all-conference type high school player this year, let alone the #1 player in the state.

clown scorn.

I have to assume you have access to a computer. There's this thing called the interwebs.

Thanks, dick. I was asking because I'm not a subscriber of those sites. Next time just don't respond instead of being a ******.

You can't be ranked higher than number 1 in Iowa, but I'm sure he would of been ranked a lot higher in the other categories if he hadn't been hurt. He should be a great player for Iowa. I read somewhere that he is six foot eight now and still growing. Of course, six foot eight in basketball might really be six foot six without basketball shoes on.

I don't understand why every recruiting site has Conner listed as a SF. He's going to play PG at Iowa. I'd be willing to be very large sums of money on it.

Not to be a smart *** but actually it does apply.

The Wikipedia definition for the term is :

"An obvious truth that is either being ignored or going unaddressed."

The truth is there is a perception that whenever a coaches son is offered a scholarship, he may be receiving preferential treatment. Nobody in this post was addressing that perception, therefore the term "elephant in the room" does apply.

Only an idiot would think that a guy who is a top 100 prospect is only being offered a scholarship because he's the coach's son.

I believe I asked if coaches' sons get preferential treatment in those rating systems, sport, not knowing for sure what the answer was.

I had read somewhere that sometimes they did but the consensus on this board is that's not the case. I accept that.

God Bless you.
