Top 150 college football players for 2017

100 yards rushing in the Outback bowl vs. a defense that had NFL guys in it, in an offense that said defense knew couldn't pass at all should have landed him in the top 150 in and of itself.

That was a really remarkable achievement by AW.

I could live with him returning kickoffs.
So few kick returns now even get returned I wouldn't worry too much about injury or fumble risk and he does give us a legit shot at returning to midfield any time he would touch it.
I DO NOT want him retuning punts though.
Punts ain't his thing, any average Jr. High coach can see that.
(Hope KF can see it.)

Will Iowa actually run 38-43 running plays a game? How many passing plays? 25-30? In a well balanced running scheme AW would see around 25 carries. #2, whoever that will be, would be getting around 12 carries and the rest would get, in aggregate, get about 6. If the passing game doesn't materialize then I guess 30 carries might be the upper limit but that might be considered criminal.

Iowa ran about 68 plays per game average last year. One would think with the hybrid BF/KOK offense the number of snaps might lower than the GD version. Doesn't bode well for scoring lots of points.

It's going to be an interesting ride. Kiper's list seems pretty objective (mostly). AW is HT material but Iowa is going to need to be in at least the 10 wins+ category for him to have an actual shot at it.
