Before the rivalry forum disappeared there was thread called Cyclone Delusion. The link above provides a perfect case. After a rare winning season and even rarer win over Oklahoma the boys and girls in Ames have had too much sugar in their Kool-Aid evidently. From all media accounts Wagoner was sought by several prominent programs. I'm sure some comments were facetious, but the giddiness of a 7 and 5 season is on full display.
