University of Iowa wrestling coach Tom Brands and former Hawkeye four-time All-American and Cedar Rapids Jefferson two-time state champ Mark Ironside*are expected to*compete in a charity Legends car Race on Friday, June 15, at Hawkeye Downs Speedway for Van Meter Industrial Night.
The third annual celebrity race will be held during weekly points races at the track. Admission is a minimum of $1 donation, although spectators are encouraged to give as much as possible, to benefit Aiming For A Cure. Admission is normally $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for those 12 years and older.
