Why are the date and time stamps so screwed up on the forums? When conference realignment rumors are changing by the minute, it's really confusing seeing the goofy time stamps on all of the posts.

Agreed! Very annoying. Appears to be Greenwich Mean Time; definitely isn't Iowa or even Eastern time.

Turns out you can fix this yourself by going to My CPanel in the upper right. However, Jon should also set the site default to Central rather than GMT.
