Tickets sales must be good

I ordered online at just after 1.

I'm in the corner ... section L, row 24.

I think I'm right by the student section ... and am taking my two sons (10 and 8) to their first Iowa game.

I'll just have them use earmuffs -- but if nothing else, they should learn about how much fun college is.

Sideline seats are sold out, corners up to row 34. First 20 rows directly behind the basket are all full.

The students are going to be tough to predict and there will probably be a lot of walk-up sales as well. But there are going to be a ton of people there.

Now they just need to make it the Garden so I can go see a game.

If we win and LSU wins, I got a feeling the turnout for the 2nd round game will be alot less then the 1st. I believe it's either thursday or friday game and people are going to rather watch it at home. So they can also watch the NCAA's

??? I find this interesting. I'm not sure I'm buying your logic.

Maybe this is just me, but I'm not going not miss out on a whole night of the NCAA tournament to go to the game when I could watch it at home and catch the big dance.

I dont know if "alot less" as people will be pretty excited if they were to beat Dayton. Let's hope we have this to worry about come Wednesday.

So, I just went to Carver to purchase tickets. I got 1 student and 1 youth, and was told there is no determined student section because this is not an Iowa sponsored game, rather NCAA. The salesman then asked if I still wanted a ticket in the student section and said they had row 1 in J. Basically, I just ended up with 2 tickets in row 1 of the same section I always sit in anyways. Pretty excited.

If Iowa wins and LSU wins and Iowa gets to host another game, Iowa fans will show up. Consider that it will be last game in Carver for Gatens and an opportunity to advance to Madison Square Garden.

I'm hoping that scenario happens..

I personally think if we get past Dayton we are traveling to Oregon.

We have to win 3 to get to Madison Square Garden. Beating LSU still has us 1 win a way.

Ugh, and we'd have to watch a game on THAT court..

Am excited to be taking whole family to game including my boys 10 & 14 to their first Hawkeye bball game. Barta priced tix right, cause gas is going to cost double, but makes it doable and worth it, plus it's a great excuse to go to IC and eat and throw back a cold one. Fell off the fanwagon hard 6-7 years ago, and have been slowly climbing back aboard with Fran and all your (HN) fan banter this season, enough to get the fever and get my a$$ down to a game.

FWIW, section NN row34 at 1:24 (started online at 1:20) . threw seats in the corner, row 21 back in, got row 27 corner right after, threw them back in and got another slot similar to what I ended up with but in corner, all in like 2-3 minutes. If Carver holds 42 rows, they may get close to filling up. Wish we were 10 rows or so closer, but we're in!

There are not 42 rows all the way around. I was at the NW game, sat in section N the very top row which was row 39.
