If I drive the five hours down to Iowa City tomorrow without tickets, will I for sure be able to find 2 seats for a cheap price?

Yeah I certainly think so. Being it was the first game I wasnt going to risk it. LA Monroe no doubt Ill be picking up a few on game day.

i suppose it also depends on what you consider a 'cheap price' and your comfort level driving all that way not having tickets. but, if you are patient, i think it can be done. it is going to be on the warm side, or it might rain, and it is Tenn. Tech - all those things work in your favor.

Depends what you are considering "cheap" is. I'm sure student tickets will go in the $10-20 range, but you need an ID for those.

If I had to guess, I would say regular seats can be had for $40. Less if you're just looking for a single seat.

You driving through Des Moines by chance? My mom lives in Beaverdale and has a couple she is looking to get rid of.

Just noticed your location.....I guess you wont be driving through Des Moines. Disregard post.

Wait until kickoff and they'll be giving them away. Nobody wants to just eat the tickets so that's the best time to get a really good price.

But if you're driving five hours, you might as well spend an extra ten-fifteen bucks and be in the stadium for all of the cool pre-game stuff, right? I've never understood the wait until kickoff strategy.

My aunt lives in Des Moines and is who has my four tickets for this game..with the ****** weather here I wanna go. I'd actually be highly interested in those two seats!

They will be a lot less than $40. If you wait until kickoff and maybe miss the first 5 minutes of the game you can probably get some for $5 or even free.

I will be there for Back in Black, I don't really see the difference saving 10-20 bucks just simply by waiting to miss some of the game.

Good call...If you wait until kickoff the starters might be out of the game by the time you find your seats :)

$20-30 a seat 30 minutes before the game
