Blah blah blah blah blah. Every team we've played is terrible, while everyone else in the country has played really tough schedules.
The one constant in our fanbase is the refusal to accept objective data that doesn't confirm their already held beliefs.
Your frustration has you shooting the messenger ...
Every rationale on which to give Iowa the edge was based on
objective data; most notably, that MSU had played
one of the weakest schedules of any team in the B1G. Most felt Iowa had done enough, against adequate competition, to be considered competitive with MSU on defense, better on offense, and were giving Iowa the overall statistical (objective) advantage, not to mention, the subjective advantage of Homecoming in Kinnick.
As others posted, the offenses Iowa has faced, including MSU, are
statistically (objectively) poor compared to those the Hawks are going to face the next 6 games. We're not making this **** up and we're really trying to give the Hawks the benefit of the doubt
based on statistical, objective data. When you get such a disconnect between the data and the reality, as was demonstrated on Saturday, the
objective response would be to question the validity of the data sample.
Seems to me, you're the only one in this thread who's in full denial of objectivity.
