Rutgers needs to win this one for the B1G!

Edit: Looking at Nova's schedule...they lost to the freaking Columbia Lions and they have a higher RPI than us. That right there says the RPI shouldn't be a main criteria. I get how it works and whatever, but it's flawed.

You guys are killing me with this stuff. None of these games matter until Iowa actually gets on the bubble. Right now about the only teams we need to root for are Iowa State, UNI, and Northwestern. The teams that can improve their RPI to get them on the bubble.

Thanks, I wish I had the time or else I would. It's just great we can have exciting conversations about Iowa basketball again. Makes the winters so much more tolerable haha.

I assume we cheer for Indiana tomorrow night. We play them twice and just playing good teams helps a team's (Iowa) RPI so we want Indiana higher than Michigan State.

I wonder how high UNI would get in RPI if they win out (regular season and conference tourney). I am guessing winning out would get them in the high 30's, which should be a big boost to Iowa as the hawks beat UNI on a neutral court. ISU winning some games down the stretch should be of benefit as well, but I just can't bring myself to hope for ISU to win ever.
