Gatens, I'm so damn pwoud of that kid. Just a warrior. If you would have told me before this game that we would get nothing on the offensive end from Cartwright and Basabe and still win I would have said you are nuts. Not only that but they missed a 1 and 1 from Gatens and 2 two shot free throws down the stretch and still won. Amazing. Great back to back wins on the road. We are no longer the doormat of the BIG.

1997-8 says the Big Ten post game....

In addition, on the post game Gary Williams said that Iowa is the best transition team in the Big 10 because they are committed to running after every missed shot.

Coming off such a big win on the road, a let down could be expected. But coming back after going down 11 early is pretty impressive.

Its fun to be nervous again about BB again.

Nope that year Iowa won at Purdue and Illinois but lost at Northwestern in between those games.

I'm really upset about the beginning of the year now. I think we could start to dream of at least being a bubble team if we started off better. Oh well.
