Nah we already got the PG we needed anyways![]()
We got a player who wanted to be a Iowa Hawkeye.....you can keep cheering for Moore if you want, I'll cheer for Hawk players.

Fran would have loved to get a visit......just not through the handlers.
Believe whatever you want, I have tried to explain this to you before. Charlie Moore was never going to come to Iowa. Any player who uses handlers, and won't eliminate them from the process won't be coming to Iowa under Fran. It is what it is, Fran gets to choose if he wants to deal in those waters, and he chooses not to.
and that in itself is a foolish STUPID decision
Yep, this is big boy basketball and you have to learn to play the recruiting game with handlers if that player fills a need
You should probably let Fran know this. I mean it sounds like you know about about recruiting and how to swim around in the muddy waters. I mean Fran has only been recruiting for decades.....I'm sure he could use your advice here.
And he's never been considered a good recruiter
So you become a good recruiter by playing ball with handlers? Frans struggle in recruiting has nothing to do with avoiding handlers. Lots of coaches and most of the B1G don't swim in those waters, you do understand that, right? There is a reason LSU, SMU, Cal, and GT (with Pastner) got visits, and other schools that reached out didn't go far (Wisconsin, Northwestern, Illinois, Seton Hall).
I don't think a lot of the good coaches in the B1G just eliminate kids from the recruitment process because they have handlers
Who said Fran eliminated the kid just because he had handlers? It seems to me that Fran tried like crazy to work around them.....just didn't work out, and at a certain point Fran cut bait.
It doesn't matter how many time he visited, once the handlers were involved our chances dropped to 0%.
See you said it
Chances of signing a kid was 0%.....not because Fran didn't try like hell to get around the handlers.
I know you get it, you are just being belligerent as usual. Maybe Iowas good win will soften you a little and you can just let go of the fact that Charlie is not a Hawk.
Replying to myself, it looks like they turned the switch on. It's all about playing good defense. For a young team, it's now about sustaining that level. Maybe the winter won't be so long.Unless and until they actually start playing defense, as opposed to just talking about needing to play defense, this is going to be a long winter. The light can go on - look at how the football team switched it on for the last 3 games - but, so far, this team hasn't shown the willingess to do so, as that's what good defense is about.
If Crean did that Indiana would be a losing program.I don't think a lot of the good coaches in the B1G just eliminate kids from the recruitment process because they have handlers
Every thread guys? c'mon.
What a ****in joke. Do you notice who provokes him? Trolls threads looking for a fight with him? Wake the **** up.
