This is why people get annoyed at the so-called "Greatness" of Lebron

At this point comparing him to Jordan has proven to be just silly, but the comparisons to Magic as a "facilitator" are silly as well.
Last night threw that out the window. When Magic was a rookie, and he was faced with a similar situation as Lebron had last night, in his 8th season (his cohort getting injured), not only did he not disappear, but he blew up.

Magic was a PG and he started at C because of the injured Jabaar, and all he did was put in 42 pts, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists to knock out the Sixers.

NBA greatness is defined in May and June, not December and January, and Lebron has yet to do anything.

I have even heard the comparisons to Magic, but last night threw that out the window too. When Magic was a rookie, and he was faced with a similar situation as Lebron had last night (his cohort getting injured), not only did he not disappear, but he blew up.

Magic choked in the finals twice and yet most people don't remember that. They just remember the ones you win, just like people will when LeBron is done. As Scott Van Pelt said, "Legacy isn't a facebook status, you don't update it everday".

What a collection of tools. DId u watch the Boston or Chicago series? Get real. Did he **** your wife or something?

Please tell me you are joking. He is arguably one of the 3 best players today. That is it. 5 or 10 years from now it may be different but being good in the 2nd round does not equal greatness.

Lebron has been outscored in the 4th quarter by JJ Barea.

lebron has all world basketball talent, but simply does not have it mentally at this point in his career

My goodness, one poorly handled decision and Lebron is the devil himself. I have never seen an athlete in my life so scrutinized after every game like Lebron has been.

That's LeBron's own damn fault. Things like The Decision/The Miami Intro Party (or whatever you want to call it)/Fake Coughing just make him come off as incredibly arrogant, which in turn makes him incredibly easy to dislike.

Did you really just lump in fake coughing with The Decision?

One was a poor choice, one is a complete non story

Yep, I did. Come back when you have an argument. I included the coughing because it is simply the most recent example of his arrogance. You never would have seen MJ fake coughing if he thought one of his opponents was playing up an injury/illness. He simply would have went out and dropped 50 on that player's team, and led his team to an easy victory. LeBron/Wade go out and question Dirk, and then get owned by him. Perhaps they should concentrate more on their own games?

You know what I find amusing -- when did LeBron ever say he was comparable to Jordan? He never did. This is mainly driven by talking heads and Scottie Pippen most recently. Sure, LeBron is arrogant, much like 95% of great athletes and The Decision was a horrible PR move along with calling himself King. But like I said most of the greats are arrogant

I just think its funny that the majority of the people who hate LeBron site examples and say "Jordan wouldve or wouldnt have done that". You can make anyone look lesser than they are when you compare them to the greatest player of all time.

I dont love LeBron but I sure dont hate him. I find myself defending him because a lot of the **** he takes is unwarranted. He's arrogant because him and D-Wade were saying stuff about Dirk that they most likely said to his face on the court? Thats an odd argument to me

Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Jordan wasn't the kind of guy who shut up and let his game do the talking. His trash talking was legendary.

Lebron is your guy if you want to win a bunch of regular season games. I would take 8-10 guys in the NBA right now ahead of him though if I want to win an NBA title.

The difference between Jordans talk and Lebrons... Jordan backed his up. Sure Lebron is arrogant, cocky, whatever, sure I do hate him.. but seriously if he could mentally figure out how to win a championship watch out. If not, he could be one of the best to never win one.

Not directly, but he did. Or do you think he pulled 7 championships out of his hat because he had just got done with his 7 minute abs video?

He said that was their goal. He never said "Im going to win 7 titles because I'm better than Michael Jordan"

Plus the 7 minute abs video tied it all together

Heh, you asking someone that is pretty funny. Of course MJ was a legendary trash talker. The difference is he did it on the court, and backed it up. He didn't do it off the court where you couldn't see him. LeBron is an arrogant coward, and it's going to be great watching Dallas put away Miami either this game, or the next.
